Rapid REC – convection ovens for professional kitchens
Alphatech Rapid REC is a range of electric convection ovens with electromechanical controls, designed for professional kitchens. The range includes models from 4 x 2/3 GN up to 10 x 1/1 GN and offers convection at temperatures between 70–300 °C, timer-controlled or continuous operation, and automatic moisture supply.
Easy to use in day-to-day work
The design of the controls makes the ovens user-friendly. Temperature, time and moisture supply are adjusted via the electromechanical control panel, and the timer function can be set for up to 120 minutes with an alarm to signal when cooking is complete. The REC 051 M, REC 071 M and REC 101 M models also feature an auto-reverse function, which means that the direction of rotation of the fan changes automatically during cooking.
Robust construction
Rapid REC ovens are fitted with stainless steel heating elements, a safety thermostat for the oven chamber and thermal motor protection. The door seal is made of heat- and ageing-resistant silicone rubber, and the ovens are supplied with adjustable stainless steel feet.
Practical details for professional kitchens
All models are fitted with a double-glazed door and a large window, providing a clear view of the oven cavity during cooking. The larger models also feature a removable inner glass panel for easier cleaning. Oven lighting is included as standard.
The oven chamber is made of stainless steel with rounded corners. Removable rack shelves with anti-tilt protection and a removable protective plate in front of the fan make it easy to access the oven for cleaning and maintenance.
Accessories
The Rapid REC range includes stands with shelves, stands with rail systems, a hand shower and a ventilation hood. For certain models, a heated cabinet is also available as an option. Alphatech also offers a wide range of trays, grids and special accessories for various types of cooking.
This usually results in a much better visual balance when the columns are displayed side by side on a desktop. I’d say that they then end up about 5–10 % apart in height, which looks natural.
